KIMBALL — Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa’s Gannon Walsh took first place Thursday at the Ken Helling Tournament played at Kimball Golf Club
Walsh shot a 3-over-par 75 to edge Drew Imdieke of Osakis, who had a 76. Paynesvilles’ Gus Johnson took fourth in the 10-team tournament with a 79.
The BBE boys golf team, however, lost to Osakis by one stroke for the team title.
The Silverstreaks shot a 339 to BBE’s 340. Paynesville was third with a 342. Litchfield tied for seventh place with a 359. The Dragons’ top golfer was Sam Tipka, who tied for eighth overall with an 80.
