ALEXANDRIA — Minnewaska/Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa finished eighth and Willmar was 13th on Wednesday at the Alexandria Invitational girls golf tournament.
Alexandria won with a 334, led by medalist Hannah Boraas’ 79.
Minnewaska/BBE shot a 377. Its top scorer was Berkeley Steffen, who tied for ninth with an 88.
Willmar had a 422. Kessa Mara led the way with a 92, good for a tie for 17th place.
The meet was played at the Alexandria Golf Club.

Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa’s Gannon Walsh earned medalist honors at the 12-team Sauk Centre Invitational.
Walsh shot a 2-over-par 74 to edge Morris/Chokio-Alberta’s Charlie Hanson, who had a 76. Minnewaska’s Riley Larson was third with a 78.
BBE and Minnewaska tied for third with 335 team totals. Bemidji won the event at Greystone Golf Club. The Lumberjacks shot a 324. Detroit Lakes was second with a 332.
Morris/CA won the three-team girls division with a 390, led by medalist Quincy Mundal’s 78.
