Golf roundup: Paynesville girls finish ninth at Crusader Invite

SAUK RAPIDS — The Paynesville girls golf team finished ninth Tuesday at the Crusader Invite at Wapicada Golf Club.

The Bulldogs finished the day with a score of 530. Leading the way was Abigail Weis, who ranked 42nd with a round of 129.

Led by medalist Abby Thelen’s round of 78, Albany won the team title. The Huskies put together a score of 359, beating second-place Zimmerman’s 408.
