BENSON — Samantha Poe and Ryah Gorans both notched a pair of goals to help the Willmar girls hockey team get back into the win column against Morris/Benson Friday at the Benson Civic Center.
The Cardinals won, 6-0.
Poe added an assist to her two goals to tie Macee Hansen for a team-high three points. Hansen recorded one goal and two assists. Gretchen Volk and Avery Olson both had two assists.
Storm goaltender Ava Breuer made 43 saves. Cardinals goaltender Halle Mortensen earned a shutout with 11 saves.
MBA plays Northern Lakes in its season finale at 6 p.m. Monday at Breezy Point Sports Center. Willmar plays River Lakes in its season finale at 7:15 p.m. at Willmar Civic Center.

River Lakes secured its third straight win in a non-conference game against Prairie Centre at River Lakes Civic Arena in Richmond.
