LITCHFIELD — Taylor Draeger tossed a two-hitter and Litchfield lashed out nine hits of its own to beat New London-Spicer 10-0 on Monday in a Wright County Conference softball game.
Draeger, who is headed to Rochester Community & Technical College to continue her softball career, did not walk a batter, striking out one.
The game was called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.
“We didn’t strike out much this time, but everything we hit was to them,” NLS head coach Melissa Bergeson said. “Some of them weren’t hit that hard. But they made the plays and we didn’t.”
Izzy Pennertz went 2-for-3 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in one. Karlee Prahl was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs and Liv Olson was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
