GLENWOOD — Brienna Dybdahl tossed a five-hitter to help the Morris/Chokio-Alberta softball beat Minnewaska 9-0 on Wednesday.

Dybdahl struck out five and had no walks. She also was 1-for-3 with two walks and two stolen bases.

Yasmine Westerman went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, a double, a walk, a hit-by-pitch and a stolen base for the Tigers.

Olivia Richards, Maddy Meulbroeck and Leslie Murken all had hits for Minnewaska.

Faith Myhre went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, two runs and three RBI to lead Minneota/Canby past Yellow Medicine East at Granite Falls.

In the seventh, the Wolverines got a double from Hady Schoffmann, a triple by Lizzie Koenen, a single by Greta Meyer and doubles by Olivia Naatjes and Erika Pieper to complete the comeback.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton salvaged Game 2 of the Camden Conference doubleheader with MACCRAY at Raymond.

R-T-R scored four times in the top of the seventh with a walk and three doubles to rally for the victory.


Laken Baartman, an eighth-grader, went 4-for-4 with three doubles and two runs for R-T-R.
