DAWSON — The Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks fell at home to the Wabasso Rabbits in three sets on Friday evening.
DB lost sets one and three, 25-22, and the middle set, 25-13.
Blackjacks senior outside hitter Kate Dahl and sophomore outside hitter Bailey Bothun recorded multi-kill performances. Dahl led with five and Bothun had three.
It was senior setter Chelsie Husby and junior middle blocker Ayiana Hastad who put in strong all-around performances.
Both Husby and Hastad tallied six digs. Husby also recorded six set assists and a solo block and Hastad added two set assists and one kill.

Benson fell to 0-2 in the West Central Conference after a four-set loss to Melrose late Thursday at Melrose.
Ellie Krusemark paced the Braves’ offense with eight kills. She also had nine digs and an ace serve. Emma Krusemark came up with 13 set assists and three ace serves. Libby McGeary scooped up 21 digs in the loss.
Benson goes to Olivia on Tuesday to play BOLD.
