West Central Tribune sports editor Tom Elliott and sports reporters Joe Brown and Michael Lyne discuss state football, state swimming and the opening of the winter sports season with girls hockey.

0:20: Michael Lyne breaks down the Class AAA state semifinal game between New London-Spicer and Watertown-Mayer. The two teams will face off at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

4:20: Joe Brown talks state girls swimming, which features Willmar's Aubrey Schueler and Minnewaska/Morris' McKenzie Luetmer in the 50-yard freestyle. The Class A state prelims are at noon Thursday, and the championships at noon Friday. Both days take place at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
