BELGRADE — The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa wrestling team fought to a pair of victories at home Tuesday at BBE High School.

The Jaguars topped Paynesville 35-32 and Kimball 48-27.

At 182 pounds, BBE’s Carson Gilbert got a pair of ranked victories. He beat Paynesville’s Peyton Hemmesch (fifth, 182) in a 3-2 decision, followed by a 7-1 decision over Kimball’s Hank Meyer (sixth, 170).

Against the Bulldogs, the Jaguars had five wins with bonus points. Ryan Jensen (138), Wyatt Engen (145), Tanner Viessman (152) and Ethan Spanier (220) each scored falls. Maximus Hanson (170) won by tech fall.
