Amanda Radel of New London-Spicer was the Section 5A-West girls tennis singles champion Wednesday at New London, while Ellie Black of Litchfield was the 5A-East champion at Glencoe.
Radel defeated Sara Rajewsky of BKMS 6-1, 6-3 in the final. Black outlasted Erin Stocker of St. Cloud Cathedral 5-7, 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 in her final.
The top three singles and top three doubles players advance to the 5A tournament Tuesday at Gold's Gym in St. Cloud.
