WILLMAR -- The Kandiyohi Soil and Water Conservation District has a few rain barrels for sale.
The barrels, which are $60 plus tax, are great for collecting rain water to be used as needed.
The SWCD also has a variety of conservation programs to help address any conservation issue, from windbreak design and installation, wetland restoration, buffer strips, prairie restoration and shoreline restoration.
The SWCD, along with Heritage Bank, offer low-interest loans for septic upgrades, manure handling equipment and reduced tillage equipment.
