WORTHINGTON -- The Ridgewater men's basketball team broke a three-game losing streak with an 81-64 win over Minnesota West Wednesday.
The Warriors (2-3, 9-9) held the Bluejays (0-4, 3-12) to under 40 percent shooting overall and dominated the boards, 47-38.
After securing a 40-30 halftime lead, the Warriors closed out the victory from the free-throw line, making 17 of 20 in the second half. Ridgewater had just four attempts and missed them all in the first 20 minutes.
Shawn Neu scored 22 points and made all four four of Ridgewater's three-pointers to lead the team. Casey Sussenguth scored 21 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Mike Weber had 13 points and Nathan Nietfeld accumulated 12 points and 16 boards.
Monte Metz's 19 points paced the Bluejays. Anthony Tomscha and Dros Papageorgiou added 12 each and Cory Lesnar had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Ridgewater will travel to Austin to face Riverland on Saturday.
