COON RAPIDS - Ridgewater defeated Northland and Mesabi Range over the weekend to win the MCAC state consolation championship.
Ridgewater’s 22 wins tie the record for most in school history.
Akeem Oglesby scored 29 points and had 11 rebounds for Ridgewater in the Mesabi Range game. He was named Region 13 Outstanding Player of the Year after the game.
Dazhown Coleman, Taylor DeLaughter and Jack Turnbull all added 12 points for the Warriors, and Coleman also had 11 rebounds.
Leland March scored 27 points and grabbed three steals for Mesabi Range.
