OUTLOOK
This edition of the Lady Warriors appears to have good depth inside but is thin at guard, a reversal of the 2008-09 season when guard-types dominated the roster, led by All-MCAC player Tara Thielke. All three returnees play down low: posts Kari Caspers and Alison Mason and wing Chelsea Voorhees -- each averaged 6.0-6.8 ppg and 4.0-5.5 rpg. Kelsey Guetter and Brianna Jacobson will provide more power near the rim. Whitley Strei and Bailey Carlson are the new guards on the roster. Jacobson and Mason won't be available until after the national volleyball tournament this weekend. "This team runs the floor well and they are good athletes," commented Ogdahl, who has a 197-160 record after 14 seasons leading the program, which was 21-7 two seasons back and third at the state tournament.
