WILLMAR -- Ridgewater College will host the MCAC women's state tournament at the end of the month, but the Lady Warriors are going to need a lot of help or they won't be invited to the eight-team party.
Anoka-Ramsey handed the Lady Warriors their fourth straight loss, 65-53, on Saturday.
Ridgewater (2-6, 7-13) has to catch one of the four teams in front of them, including the fourth-place Golden Rams, now with four wins.
Ridgewater stayed close up until the final three minutes, but could never overcome the Anoka leads, which shrank to four points several times in the second half.
Sophomore guards Tara Thielke scored 21 points and Danielle Goeman added 12, but the Lady Warriors were stymied in the paint.
