THIEF RIVER FALLS - Nick Stafford won at 174 but an undermanned Ridgewater wrestling team fell to Northland on Wednesday.
Stafford won by technical Fall over Northland's Mike Lambert 18-3.
Ridgewater had forfeits at six of 10 weights. The Warriors' Leo Kerfeld won by technical fall in an exhibition match.
The Warriors wrestle at Rochester on Wednesday, then compete in the Don Parker Open in Eau Claire, Wis., at 10 a.m. on Feb. 4 in their final regular-season competition.
Ridgewater then competes in regional qualifying on Feb. 12 at Northland in Thief River Falls.
