WILLMAR -- Ridgewater College sophomores Emily Roelike and Macy McKay have been named to the 2010 NJCAA Division III 2010 All-America Volleyball first team. Additionally, freshman Molly Hurrle earned honorable mention honors.
Roelike is a first-team selection for the second year in a row. McKay was honorable mention as a freshman.
Roelike, a Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa graduate from Belgrade, is only the second Lady Warrior in program history to be selected to the first team both years. The outside hitter had 299 kills while hitting .267 and accumulating 267 digs and 17 blocks. She was named the MVP of the 2010 NJCAA Division III National Tournament.
McKay, a Yellow Medicine East graduate from Granite Falls, is only the third player in program history to receive back-to-back honors. For the 2010 season, the right-side hitter tallied 279 kills while hitting .318 and accumulating 285 digs, 40 ace serves and 55 blocks. She was named to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament All-Tournament team.
Molly Hurrle, from Kimball, notched 1,108 assists, 46 service aces, 197 digs and 25 blocks. She was the only true setter named to the All-American team in 2010.
