SPICER -- The Frozen 5k Run 2010 will be held Saturday, Jan. 23.
The race starts at Melvin's on the Lake in Spicer at 9 a.m. and runs to the Green Lake Bible Camp and back to Melvin's.
The registration fee is $25 for entries received by Jan. 15, otherwise it is $30 until the day of the race. Printable registration forms are available at www.pickleevents.com/glaciallakes . To register online, go to www.greenlaketri.com and click on "Frozen 5K" until Jan. 20. Runners can also preregister at Melvin's on the Lake.
The Frozen 5k is the starting event for the 2010 Glacial Lakes Championship Running Series.
Medals are given to the top three finishers in each age division and all runners who register by Jan. 15 are guaranteed a long-sleeve t-shirt. All runners will be given a ticket for Dad's Belgian Waffle Breakfast that morning.

All proceeds from the event go to the Spicer Commercial Club to enhance community projects.
