NEW LONDON -- The New London-Spicer boys invitational was decided by a tiebreaker after 18 holes (Pines and Willows) at the Little Crow Country Club on Friday.
St. Cloud Cathedral and the Wildcats each finished at 307. The Crusaders won with a better fifth score, 83 compared to 85.
The Crusaders' Nathan Hoefflin shot a two-under par 70 to place first. Chris Tobkin of NLS shot a 71, his best score this season, to finish second.
Following Tobkin was Austin Jones of Mayer Lutheran at even par and then NLS teammates Barret Freeland at 75 and Ryan Bergh with a 76.
