The Section 3A-North girls basketball tournament begins today with Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, Central Minnesota Christian and Renville County West all playing first-round games.
KMS is hosting ECHO Charter, CMCS hosts Lincoln HI and RCW is at Wabasso; all 7 p.m. games.
Canby is the top seed in the North half with Minneota No. 2, MACCRAY No. 3 and Dawson-Boyd No. 4. Those top four teams received first-round byes.
