Section 6A Track: Morris/CA's Moser qualifies for state in pole vault for 4th straight year

MOORHEAD -- For the fourth straight year, Rachel Moser of Morris/Chokio-Alberta qualified for state in the pole vault after winning the Section 6A meet Thursday at Minnesota State, Moorhead.

MOORHEAD -- For the fourth straight year, Rachel Moser of Morris/Chokio-Alberta qualified for state in the pole vault after winning the Section 6A meet Thursday at Minnesota State, Moorhead.

Moser cleared 11-1, tying her personal best. She narrowly missed qualifying in the 100, finishing third.

Brandi Otto of Minnewaska Area won the discus event and Halle Christianson of Minnewaska was second in the 400.

In the boys' meet, Cody Cannon of Morris/Chokio-Alberta was first in the 300 hurdles and second in the 110 hurdles. Tristan Michealson of Morris/Chokio-Alberta was first in the 110 hurdles.

The top two individuals and top relay team in each event qualify for the state meet, as well as anyone meeting the standard, on June 10-11 at Hamline University in St. Paul.
