NEW LONDON -- Blake Shuck and Josh Evans hooked up on a 16-yard halfback pass early in the fourth quarter to break a 7-7 tie and New London-Spicer won its second straight after outlasting Little Falls 14-7 in an East Central District game on Friday.

NEW LONDON - Blake Shuck and Josh Evans hooked up on a 16-yard halfback pass early in the fourth quarter to break a 7-7 tie and New London-Spicer won its second straight after outlasting Little Falls 14-7 in an East Central District game on Friday.
The Wildcats (2-3) opened the scoring when Evans completed a 59-yard TD to Cody King with just 23 seconds left in the first quarter. Evans didn’t throw an interception and completed 7 of 11 passes for 113 yards.
King hauled in four passes for 98 yards.
NLS had a slight advantage in offense, outgaining the visiting Flyers 192-149.
NLS is at Zimmerman next Friday.
