St. Cloud State outfielder Jordan Smith, a freshman from Willmar, was named NSIC Baseball Player of the Week on Monday.
Smith batted .615 in three games at the Heffington Optical Invitational in Springfield, Mo., including hitting for the cycle in a 9-7 loss on Saturday to Arkansas Tech. He also homered Friday in a 5-3 win over Ouachita Baptist.
He leads the Huskies (9-4) in hitting (.523), RBI (18) and hits (23).
