Jordan Smith, a 2009 Willmar High School graduate, is hitting .308 after helping the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox get off to a 3-1 start on opening weekend of the Cape Cod League.
The Cleveland Indians draftee has four hits, one a double, in 13 at-bats and two stolen bases.
Smith was the second leading hitter last summer in the Northwoods League while playing for his hometown Willmar Stingers.
