LITCHFIELD—Morgan Matson was effectively wild in the pitching circle, allowing only two hits but walking 11 in Watertown-Mayer's 6-4 win over Litchfield on Wednesday.

The game was started as the second of a Wright County Conference doubleheader on Monday but was suspended because of rain in the bottom of the first inning.

Matson also homered and drove in two runs.

Litchfield's Jasmin Estrada hit a two-run homer in her one plate appearance and she drew three walks. Avery Stilwell had the Dragons' other hit and Emma DeWolf drove in a run.

Litchfield wraps up the regular season with a doubleheader at Mound Westonka at 3 p.m. Saturday.
