Players from left are Drey Dirksen, Nate Spencer and Zach Courtney The area’s mild winter allowed the team to get outside for some workouts this week, although colder temperatures, wind and possible rain, sleet or snow will likely force the team indoors for practices the rest of the week. The varsity opens the 2016 season against Hutchinson at 5:30 p.m., April 12, at Bill Taunton Stadium
