WILLMAR -- The Ridgewater College Lady Warriors went cold the game's last 10 minutes and fell to the College of St. Benedict JV 57-47 on Wednesday at the community college gym.
The Lady Warriors led 27-22 at the half and held a small 39-37 lead midway through the second half. The Blazers' Sarah Carlson, a freshman out of Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, drove the lane to tie it 39-39.
It was 41-41 when the Blazers launched an eight-point run to pull away.
Jamie Wollin, a freshman from Litchfield, led the Blazers with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Hannah Hylla also scored 11 points.
Both teams shot just 33 percent, but Ridgewater had a 54-42 edge in rebounding.

The Blazers clogged up the middle and gave the Ridgewater forwards and posts only a few good looks.
"The stat sheet shows we had 19 turnovers, but we probably had around 30," said Ridgewater coach Carrie Ogdahl. "Most of them were (in our end) and we need to learn to relax and take care of the ball on that end."
Alison Mason finished with eight points while Kelsey Guetter, Kari Caspers, Laura Houghton and Sara Beyer each notched seven for the Lady Warriors. Carlson finished with six points and a game-high five steals.
The Lady Warriors host St. Cloud Technical College at 6 p.m. today.
