MINNEAPOLIS -- Something about Target Field brings out the very best in the BOLD Warriors baseball team.
Jordan Sagedahl threw a one-hitter and drove in an insurance run with an inside-the-park home run as the Warriors defeated New York Mills 8-0 to win the Class A state championship on Thursday at Target Field.

It's BOLD's first championship since 2013. In that game, also at Target Field, former Warriors ace Logan Sandgren one-hit Osakis and BOLD won its first state title 3-0.
On Thursday, BOLD broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning when Blake Flann doubled in pinch runner Avery Herdina to make it 1-0. Sagedahl's home run in the fifth made it 2-0.
The Warriors blew the game open with six runs in the sixth inning. Sagedahl's only hit allowed was a seventh-inning single by NYM's Abe Carlson.
