MINNEAPOLIS - The Litchfield girls tennis team blanked Osakis 7-0 on Tuesday morning to move into the Class A semifinals of the Minnesota State Girls Tennis Tournament at the Reed-Sweatt Family Tennis Center.
The Dragons take on St. James, a 5-2 winner over East Grand Forks, in the A semifinals at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Reed-Sweatt. The Class A championship match is at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Litchfield's Shanna Kinny, Elise Bierbaum, Avery Stilwell and Alyssa Ross brought home singles victories.
The Dragons' doubles teams of Laney Huhner and Vaida Behnke, Taylar Smith and Neriah Lara, and Ryanna Steinhaus and Britney Prahl won their matches.
