University of Minnesota wrestler and team captain Kevin Steinhaus defeated 2010 Big Ten and NCAA champ Quentin Wright, of Penn State, 6-1 on Saturday, helping the No. 3-ranked Gophers defeat No. 2 PSU 23-14.
Steinhaus, a redshirt sophomore out of KMS, was 1-2 against Wright last year, winning by major decision in a regular-season dual meet and losing to Wright by one point in both the Big Ten finals and in an NCAA tournament match.
