Swenson notches 200th career win

Dawson-Boyd/Lac qui Parle Valley senior 145-pounder Ryan Swenson recorded the 200th win of his career Tuesday in the Section 3AA-North quarterfinals against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at Wabasso.

Dawson-Boyd/Lac qui Parle Valley senior 145-pounder Ryan Swenson recorded the 200th win of his career Tuesday in the Section 3AA-North quarterfinals against Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at Wabasso.

Swenson is 200-27 in his career which also includes a Class AA state title at 135 pounds in 2009. He is only the fourth wrestler in area history to record 200-or-more wins.

Swenson got his 200th win in an 8-6 victory over TMB's Ian Mariner.

The all-time leader is Kevin Steinhaus of KMS with 246 wins.
