WILLMAR -- The Willmar swimmers and divers gave it their best shot but they still came up short again against Brainerd in a Central Lakes dual meet on Tuesday, 103-83.
Both teams came in unbeaten. Willmar has now been swa-mped by the Brainerd swimmers 16 of the last 17 meetings.
Races were close. Brainerd won the opening relay by .02 and Willmar took the final relay by .19.
In diving, Brainerd's Britton Murrey outpointed Willmar's Bennet Woltjer 256.85-219.40 in a tight contest through four dives.
