WILLMAR -- Willmar won four events, including a relay, in a 100-86 loss to Sauk Rapids in Central Lakes Conference swimming and diving action Thursday.
The Cardinals won the 200 medley relay in 2:02.79. Ashley Alvarado took first in the 200 freestyle in 2:13.95, Kennedy Holwerda won the 500 freestyle in a personal best of 6:19.22 and Cassie Yoakum placed first in the 100 backstroke in 1:06.02, also a personal best.
Michole Timm of Sauk Rapids set a pool record in the diving competition, scoring 278.40 points.
