WILLMAR -- It was Parents Night and the last home meet on the schedule as Willmar plowed over Melrose 104.5-81.5 in a non-conference swimming dual.
The Cardinals close out the dual-meet schedule at Sauk Rapids on Thursday still hoping to wedge into second-place in the Central Lakes Conference pool race.
Andy Johnson won both the 100 (1:54.15) and 200 freestyles (1:54.15) and another senior, Steve Kluver, took the 50 (23.08) and the backstroke (57.88). Ben Saint got Willmar's other individual first, in the breaststroke (1:09.97).
The Cardinals also won all tree relays. Bennet Woltjer scored 160 to place second in diving.
