ST. CLOUD -- Willmar's Michael McLain won a Central Lakes Conference boys swimming title in the 200 freestyle as the Cardinals took sixth place in the conference meet Saturday.
McLain won the race in 1:52.59. He also took fourth in the 100 butterfly in 59.48. Kyle Rozendaal finished third in the 100 backstroke in 57.71. Other fourth-place finishers were Bennet Woltjer in diving with 306.85 points, A.J. Derouin in the 500 freestyle in 5:28.90 and the 200 freestyle relay team of Ross Swartz, Mason Kluver, Ben Fuglestad and McLain in 1:35.39.
All three Willmar divers -- Bennet Woltjer, Aaron Weidemann and Sam Murphy finished in the top 10.
Sartell won the conference team title with 398 points.
