BRAINERD -- Emily Zondervan had Willmar's highest finish Thursday as the junior placed second in the 100 breaststroke in the Cardinals' 121-61 Central Lakes Conference loss to Brainerd.
Willmar had four third-place finishes in individual events; Ashley Alvarado in the 200 individual medley, Liz Gorans in the 50 freestyle, Miranda Kuchta in the 100 backstroke and Alycia Holwerda in the breaststroke.
The Cardinals are off until hosting Sartell next Thursday.
