WILLMAR -- Brainerd kept in the hunt for the Central Lakes Conference tennis title with a 6-1 win over Willmar Monday.
The Warriors (5-1, 6-1) trail St. Cloud Tech by one point.
The lone point for Willmar (1-7, 1-8) came from the 3-doubles team of Austen Hilding and Sam Murphy, who won 6-4, 7-5.
Preston Peterson came close to forcing a third set at 4-singles, but lost the match 7-5, 7-6 (7-3).
Willmar hosts Sartell today at 4:30 p.m.
