The Insider: Cardinal Pride HOF induction next week

Beth Zimmer, a Willmar Class of 2004 graduate, and Shanlee Bahl Isch, Class of 1984, will be inducted into the Cardinal Pride Hall of Fame on Sept. 25.
The inductees will be interviewed on KWLM’s Open Mic show the morning of the Cardinal Pride banquet, and a reception is set for 3:30 p.m., followed by the banquet at Kennedy School.
The reception and banquet will be outdoors, weather permitting.
Zimmer and Bahl Isch will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at halftime of Willmar’s Homecoming football game.
The cost for the catered banquet meal is $10 and football game tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for seniors.

Brenner sinks hole-in-one
Mike Brenner of Willmar hit a hole in one on Sept. 7 at Little Crow Country Club.
Brenner used a 9-iron to ace the No. 5 Pines hole from 115 yards.
