Midway-Minto scored 84 points in a high school football game Friday night and still lost by three touchdowns to Drake-Anamoose's 107 points.

This high scoring affair in Drake , N.D., was a 6-man football matchup between Drake-Anamoose High School and Midway-Minto High School.

The game featured a combined 191 points on 28 touchdowns.

The second-quarter scoring alone produced a remarkable 91 points (53 by Drake-Anamoose, 38 by Midway-Minto).


The score was close in the fourth quarter with Drake-Anamoose holding an 89-84 lead over Midway-Minto. But then Drake-Anamoose made three consecutive touchdowns to win the game.

Drake-Anamoose quarterback Payton Martin scored 13 touchdowns (seven rushing, six passing) in the game, according to the game report in the Grand Forks Herald . Midway-Minto's Seth Robinson had seven touchdowns (six passing and one rushing.)
