ROCHESTER-Three Stinger players have been selected to participate in the annual Northwoods League All-Star Game.
Pitcher Blake Stockert, centerfielder Danny Pardo and first baseman Greg Lambert will all suit up with the NWL North Division in the July 19 contest at Simmons Field in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Stockert has been Willmar's most reliable arm this summer, going 4-1 with 32 strikeouts in 31-2/3 innings. His 0.85 ERA is the best in the Northern Division and second in the entire league.
Hitting second and third, Pardo and Lambert have provided a consistent pop at the top of the Stinger lineup.
Pardo is hitting .331 and has scored 39 runs, six more than any other Northwoods player.

Lambert has been Willmar's most productive power hitter, blasting a team-high five home runs. He is also tied for second in the NWL with 36 RBIs.
All-Star festivities begin on July 18, with the Home Run Derby at 6:30 p.m. Derby participants will be announced July 13.
St. Cloud had the most selectees with seven. Eau Claire, Wisconsin Rapids and Kalamazoo all had five.
The South has won two straight and three of the last four All-Star Games.
