CLARA CITY-Tracy-Milroy-Balaton is No. 3 in Class A and the Panthers showed why on Tuesday night, handing MACCRAY just its third loss of the season in three games.
The Panthers, now 18-4, jumped out to large leads in the first and second sets but the Wolverines fought back in each to make it close before dropping both by 25-19.
The third set was ultimately the closest as the Wolverines pushed it to extra points but once again the ranked Panthers came out on top, this time 27-25.
Sydney Schwitters filled the stat sheet in the loss, earning 26 set assists, three service aces, three kills and 10 digs.
The defense was strong for the Wolverines as four players recorded double-digit digs. Ellie Thein who finished with 24.

It's the first loss for the Wolverines in nearly a month but they still hold a lead in the Camden Conference North. MACCRAY will try to get back in the win column on Thursday night in Renville against Renville County West.
