BIRD ISLAND — Trevor Nissen went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI and James Woelfel was 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI to help Bird Island to a 7-6 win over the Marshall A’s late Wednesday.
Dylan Gass and Jordan Sagedahl each added two hits for the Bullfrogs, who withstood a three-run rally by Marshall in the ninth inning.
Matt Hmielewski, Alex Thompson and Riley Alcorn all had two hits apiece for the A’s.
