LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) -- The Baltimore Orioles have acquired shortstop J.J. Hardy and infielder Brendan Harris from the Minnesota Twins for a pair of minor league pitchers.
The Orioles also got cash in the deal Thursday that sent right-handers Jim Hoey and Brett Jacobson to Minnesota.
The 28-year-old Hardy hit .268 with six home runs and 38 RBIs last season. The 30-year-old Harris hit .157 in a limited role.
