Bothun and Trevon Johnson at 106 both had two pins as United was edged 33-31 by Fairmont/Martin County West and beat New Ulm 42-27 and Luverne 45-22.
The United host a triangular with Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City and Quad County next Tuesday in Madison.
