UPDATE 2:25 p.m.: Prep Sports: Weather forces postponements for winter opener

Thursday was the first day of competition for the 2021 season

The long-awaited start of winter sports will have to wait a little longer.

Snow totals are expected between 3 to 7 inches in west central Minnesota and 6 to 10 inches in southern Minnesota.
