BREWSTER -- Southwest United quarterback Brandon Welinski ran for touchdowns of 4 and 26 yards in the second quarter and Upsala/Swanville Area went on to blank Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 19-0 in a Prairie South Conference football game on Friday night.
The Fighting Saints (0-3, 0-5) had two drives stall inside the USA 20-yard line.
Welinski kept the ball 17 times and rushed for 187 yards.
Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg rushed for 137 yards, but was shut out passing. Jonah Johnson carried 33 times for 110 yards for the Fighting Saints.
Defensively, Casey Krieger was in on 21 tackles and Lamberto Rodriquez 20. Krieger also intercepted a Welinski pass.
