WILLMAR - Jon Broman reached on error in the seventh inning, stole second and scored the winning run on another error as Willmar Post 1939 defeated the Alex 15s 10-9 on Tuesday at Swansson Fields.
Alex scored three runs in the top of the seventh to tie the game before Broman wound his way around the bases.
Willmar’s Braden Sunder tripled, doubled, drove in a run and scored twice, and Grant Bangen had two hits, including a double, and drove in run.
Dalton Rambow doubled and drove in two runs.
Bangen got the win in relief of starter Tyler Johnson, who was 2-for-3 and drove in a run. Zak Madsen also doubled and had an RBI.
