WILLMAR - St. Cloud Tech had six champions to take first place at the Willmar Invitational on Friday.

The Tigers totaled 197 points to best Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg’s 184. The host Cardinals had three champions - Cael Carlson at 113 pounds, Colten Carlson at 170 and heavyweight Brady Reigstad - and finished third with 171.5 points.

KMS was last year’s champion. Willmar was second and Tech third.

Both Cael and Colten collected three pins in their three matches. All of Cael’s pins were in the first period.

Reigstad had a first-round bye and followed with two decisions to take first, a year after finishing second.
