Volleyball event held in Leiseth's honor

The Stina's Strength Memorial Volleyball Event will be held today at the high school gym in Granite Falls.

The event features senior players from the West Central South Conference against senior players from the Camden North Conference.

There will also be a silent auction, music and food. Keith Elias, a former NFL player and now a motivational speaker, will also be on hand.

Leiseth, a former All-Area player for Yellow Medicine East, was killed in an automobile accident last year.

Proceeds will go to scholarships for area seniors.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
