Volleyball: Morris holds two-match advantage in South race

MORRIS -- Morris Area improved to 6-0 in the West Central South Conference with a 25-12, 25-21 25-10 sweep of Lac qui Parle Valley on Thursday.

The Tigers maintained a two-match lead over second-place of Montevideo in the conference race.

Jenna Nelson and Erin Schieler had nine kills apiece for the Tigers, 11-1 overall. Carrie Roske and Mackenzie Weatherly aced four serves apiece.

Rachel Streich had three ace serves for the Eagles (1-4, 4-7).
